Day 1: Transfer to Kampala

Begin your journey with a transfer to Kampala, Uganda's vibrant capital city. Despite its commercial nature, Kampala is home to numerous cultural attractions such as the Gadhafi Mosque and the Baha’i Shrine. After checking in, take some time to explore the city’s sights, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and relax for the evening.

Start your day with a visit to the Kasubi Tombs, the esteemed burial site of Buganda kings, where you will learn about the royal history and beliefs. Continue to the Buganda Palace to explore the king’s coronation process and view significant royal regalia. After a lunch break, visit the Uganda Museum to see artifacts from ancient times and gain insights into Uganda’s historical and cultural evolution. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Travel from Kampala to Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda. The journey includes a stop at Mabira Forest for a brief hike to experience its wildlife. Continue to Sezibwa Falls, known for its unique origin, and capture some photographs. Enjoy lunch in Jinja before heading to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Explore Jinja’s cultural and spiritual sites starting with Bujagali and Itanda ancestral grounds. Visit traditional shrines where local healers offer blessings. Proceed to Mpumudde Hill and the Busoga Palace to learn about the Busoga Kingdom’s history and royal symbols. Experience a traditional meal preparation and visit craft shops for souvenirs.
