Upon your arrival in Kigali, a representative will pick you up for a brief city tour. Discover the vibrant capital of Rwanda, with visits to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and local markets offering insight into Rwandan culture. Afterward, begin the scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park, home to the second-largest population of mountain gorillas in the world.
Early morning, prepare for the highlight of the tour – gorilla trekking. After a briefing at the park's headquarters, you'll embark on a trek through the lush forest in search of one of the 10 habituated gorilla groups. Once the gorillas are located, you'll spend an unforgettable hour observing and photographing them.
