Full itinerary

Your safari adventure starts with a pickup from your location in Kampala. The journey to Kibale National Park offers stunning views of local villages, farmlands, and the majestic Rwenzori Mountains. A lunch stop in Fort Portal breaks the 5-6 hour journey. Upon arrival at Kibale, check into your lodge and prepare for the following day's trek.

Begin the day with an early breakfast before heading to the Kanyachu Visitors Centre for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Spend up to four hours tracking and interacting with chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After your trek, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stop for lunch en route. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive to spot elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife.

Start the day with a thrilling game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, known for its high concentration of lions and other wildlife such as Uganda kobs, elephants, and buffaloes. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, home to numerous hippos, crocodiles, and bird species. A game drive at sunset offers a chance to spot more wildlife.

Depart Queen Elizabeth for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha sector—famous for its tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready as you might catch lions lounging on fig tree branches. Arrive at Bwindi in the late afternoon, check into your lodge, and relax ahead of the gorilla trek.

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your gorilla trek. Trekking can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the gorilla's location. Once found, you will spend an hour observing these majestic creatures. Return to the lodge in the evening for a well-deserved rest.

After a relaxed breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala with stops at Mbarara for lunch and the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Arrive in Kampala in the evening, where your driver will drop you off at your location or the airport.
