Full itenerary

Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to Nyungwe Forest National Park. The journey offers scenic views of Rwanda’s countryside. Arrive at your lodge in Nyungwe and check in. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the lodge's surroundings or relaxing. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Then, embark on a trek through the rainforest to find chimpanzees and other primates like colobus monkeys and baboons. Enjoy observing these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, experience the exhilarating canopy walk, which offers stunning views of the forest and a unique perspective of the wildlife below. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, take a guided nature walk through Nyungwe Forest, exploring its diverse flora and fauna. This walk may include birdwatching opportunities, as the forest is home to many bird species.
