Your adventure begins with an 8:30 AM departure from Arusha, heading to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of exploration. This scenic park is renowned for its lush forest of acacia and mahogany trees, and you'll have the chance to spot wildlife such as buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. With a bit of luck, you might catch sight of the famous tree-climbing lions. The park’s shoreline, often teeming with pink flamingos, offers a stunning view. After a picnic lunch and further game drives, you will head to your camp or lodge for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Following an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-hour game drive through this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater is home to an extraordinary range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, rhinos, and jackals. Enjoy the sight of flamingos dotting the crater lake and marvel at the wide variety of birds, including eagles and vultures. After a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool, ascend the crater walls and make your way to your accommodation in Karatu, where a delicious dinner awaits.
Your final day begins with a hearty breakfast before heading to Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a half-day game drive along the Tarangire River, which attracts a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras. By mid-afternoon, you'll begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving by 6 PM.
