This 3-Day Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari takes you to one of Uganda’s most popular and biodiverse national parks. Explore the park’s rich wildlife through game drives, a scenic boat cruise, and enjoy stunning views of the Kazinga Channel. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a variety of animals, including elephants, lions, buffalos, hippos, and an incredible number of bird species.
Depart from Kampala early in the morning and embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful Ugandan countryside with chances to spot wildlife. Upon arrival at the park, head out for a game drive in search of elephants, buffalo, and possibly the famous tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector.
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, exploring the park’s vast landscapes while searching for lions, leopards, warthogs, and more. Later, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, known for its large populations of hippos, crocodiles, and an array of bird species such as pelicans, African fish eagles, and kingfishers.
After breakfast, visit Katwe Salt Lake, where locals have been mining salt for centuries using traditional methods. Learn about the salt extraction process and the importance of this lake to the community. Afterward, depart for Kampala, arriving in the evening.
