3 Days Kenya Birding Safari
3 Days Kenya Birding Safari offers an opportunity to visit two amazing birding sites in Kenya that are Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha situated in the beautiful rift valley province of Kenya. On this safari expect to spot numerous colorful and fascinating bird species such as lesser and greater flamingos, great white pelican, Hottentot teal, grey crowned crane, Kenya rufous sparrow, lesser kestrel, jacana, great white Egret, saddle-billed stork, white-fronted bee-eater, and many more which inhabit in these sites.
Full itenerary
The 1st day of the 3 days Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru safari is for transferring from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha marking the start of the safari, you will have a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi then meet your safari driver and head to Lake Naivasha.
As your head to Lake Naivasha you will make a stopover at the Great Rift Valley escarpments for amazing scenic views then drive the last share of the route to the park. Upon your arrival in the park you will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon you will head to Lake Naivasha for a one hour boat cruise.
On the boat cruise you will enjoy the cool breeze on the lake and spot many birds such as herons, pelicans, lesser and greater flamingos, fish eagles and many more. You also spot water animals such as crocodiles and hippos. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
You will wake early in the morning for breakfast and together with your safari drive you will checkout of your lodge and head to Lake Nakuru found in Lake Nakuru national park. Upon your arrival you will have lunch after checking into your lodge and in the afternoon you will head to the lake on a bird watching experience, on the lake you will spot many birds such as lesser and greater flamingos, herons, secretary birds, fish eagles, great white pelican, Hottentot teal, grey crowned crane, Kenya Rufous sparrow, lesser kestrel, jacana, great white Egret, saddle-billed stork and many more. You will also spot many animals such as lions, rhinos, hippos, leopards, waterbucks and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
After morning breakfast at your lodge you will meet your safari driver then checkout of your lodge and embark on your journey back to Nairobi. When you arrive in Nairobi you will be dropped either at your lodge or at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your departure flight.
